Default late payment interest rates

Recording the base rates used to calculate late payment interest in Logzi, with a validity date.

Function overview

On the Default late payment interest rates page you manage the base rate values that Logzi uses to calculate late payment interest.

  • Value: you enter the percentage value of the base rate, for example 16.50.
  • Validity: you assign a date to every value from which it is valid.
  • History: earlier values are kept, so the time series can be followed.

Step by step

1. Opening the page

Click Main menu / Settings / System settings / Default late payment interest rates. At the top you see the New, Open and Delete buttons, below them the list with the ID, Name, Value and Valid columns. The screenshots were taken in the Hungarian interface.

2. Adding or editing a base rate

Click New, or select a row and click Open. In the window that opens, on the Actions tab enter the Name (at least 2 characters), the Value (a number, use a decimal point, for example 16.50) and the Date from which the value is valid. Click Save to save the data and Close to close the window.

3. Deleting a base rate

To delete, select the row and click Delete.

Tip

When the base rate changes, do not overwrite the old value: add a new row with the new validity date, so the correct rate remains in effect for the earlier periods too.

It shows the date from which the given base rate is valid.

Technically yes, but it is worth keeping them so that late payment interest for earlier periods can still be calculated correctly.

The menu item is located under Main menu / Settings / System settings. If you do not see it, your user probably does not have the required permission; ask your administrator to check the settings.
