A smooth relationship between accountant and business.

At Cashbook we do everything because we are convinced that by improving communication between the accountant and the business being served, both parties can gain advantages that neither can achieve alone.

We believe that working together is actually an educational process in which accountants finally become experts of their profession, and the businesses served can finally make financial decisions based on up-to-date data.

We created Cashbook so that for accountants it is available as a menu item in their favorite accounting program, just as simply as the other familiar functions, and for businesses on the web and on mobile, as the accelerated business life demands.

Our story

The predecessor of Cashbook was originally developed in 2010 for the financial records of our own company. We wanted every invoice to be in one place and to be able to see our receivables, liabilities and current VAT balance at any time.

We used it this way for nearly 4 years, when it became known among our clients that we had such a financial record system, and we noticed that more and more people wanted it. Later one of our clients asked whether we could put their accountant into the system, who could do the bookkeeping from there.

At that point we rewrote the system to include these accountant functions, and we started talking with RLB about how we could transfer the data there as well.

The talks with RLB brought many changes. For nearly 3 years we worked together so that the Cashbook known today could be born. It got new clothes, was renamed, and received at least as many accountant functions as the number of entrepreneurs we had put into it in the previous 6 years.

In the period since, it has been proven that digitalization can play a huge role in accounting work, and our clients' feedback also supports that since they started using Cashbook, their professional knowledge and advisory role have come to the fore again in their work, instead of the time-consuming administrative tasks they had before.

That is why we keep working to extend, alongside ever newer functions, the circle of those who can access our services, so we are building integrations with more and more accounting programs.

This is how Relax became our partner in 2021, and three more integrations will soon be completed: Novitax, Naturasoft, Netaccounting, so by the end of 2023 Cashbook will be available in five accounting programs.
